Lifetime Base Warranty

 

Quick highlights

  • One-time fee per Base: AED 99.

1) Definitions

  • Base: Sole Mate heel/base component only.

  • Lifetime: the period the Base can reasonably remain in service under normal use by the original purchaser and while compatible parts or equivalent replacements are available.

2) What’s covered

Functional defects arising from manufacturing or materials under normal use, including:

  • Snap-lock interface failure on the Base (attachment points).

  • Structural fracture or midsole/heel separation not caused by impact, heat, chemicals, or misuse.

  • Outsole delamination unrelated to wear/tear or solvent exposure.

  • Foam collapse that materially affects comfort within normal use.

3) What’s not covered

  • Cosmetic changes (scuffs, scratches, fading, imprints, odors).

  • Damage from misuse, impact, crushing, cuts, heat, water/chemical exposure, or improper storage.

  • Use with non-Sole Mate tops or mismatched sizes.

  • Third-party alterations/repairs.

  • Commercial/rental use.

  • Loss or theft.

  • Tops, bags, accessories, or any non-Base components.

4) Eligibility and activation

  • Add-on must be purchased for the specific Base (per SKU) at checkout or within 14 days of Base purchase.

  • Coverage starts from the Base purchase date.

  • Applies only to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.

5) Claim process

Email info@solemate.ae with order number, Base model/size/SKU, photos or short video of the issue, and a brief description. Physical inspection may be required. Submitting false or altered information voids coverage.

6) Remedy

  • Approved claims receive a replacement Base of the same model and size; if original color is unavailable, closest available color or an equivalent model is provided.

  • Replacements may be new or refurbished and carry the remaining coverage balance; the 12-month frequency window and lifetime cap do not reset.

  • No cash refunds or store credit under this add-on.

7) Fees per exchange

  • UAE: AED 30 delivery + processing per approved exchange (non-refundable).

  • International: customer pays shipping, duties, and taxes; dynamic rates are communicated before you ship. Proceeding with the exchange confirms acceptance of the quoted charges.

8) Limits and misuse

  • Frequency: up to 2 approved exchanges per rolling 12-month period per covered Base.

  • Lifetime: up to 10 approved exchanges total for that Base.

  • We may decline or revoke coverage for misuse, repeated unrelated damage patterns, missing proof, or fraud indicators.

9) Your responsibilities

Use only matching-size Sole Mate Tops; follow attach/detach instructions; verify full engagement before wear; discontinue use if damage appears; follow care guidance.

10) Relation to standard warranty and law

This add-on sits in addition to the standard 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Statutory consumer rights under UAE law remain unaffected where they provide stronger protection.

11) Changes

Terms may be updated for future purchases. The version accepted when you buy the add-on governs your coverage.
