Terms and Conditions

Overview

Sole Mate (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this e-commerce website and provides its content, features, tools, products, and services (the “Services”). Our storefront is powered by Shopify. By using the Services you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Access & Accounts

Provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and all activity under your account. Accounts are non-transferable.

2) Products & Content

We aim for accurate descriptions; minor variations in color/appearance can occur. We may change or discontinue products at any time and limit quantities per person, order, or region.

3) Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline before dispatch. If we cancel after payment due to error or unavailability, you receive a full refund. Purchases are for personal/household use, not resale.

4) Pricing, Taxes, Billing

Prices, fees, promotions may change without notice. The price at checkout applies. Unless shown otherwise, prices exclude shipping and any applicable taxes/duties. You authorize us and our payment partners to charge the order total.

5) Shipping & Risk

Domestic UAE: Standard only, AED 20, free over AED 300; 1–3 business days to major cities, 2–4 to remote areas; daily cutoff 2:00 PM GST; no COD.
International: Selected countries; shipping calculated at checkout; duties/taxes borne by recipient. Title and risk pass on delivery to your address. Delivery timelines are estimates.

6) Returns & Exchanges

Return window: 14 days from delivery subject to eligibility. Fees and process are detailed in the Return & Exchange Policy. Defective/incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

7) Warranties

Tops: 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Bases: 1-year limited warranty; optional Lifetime Base Warranty add-on for AED 99 with terms including exchange limits and fees (see “Lifetime Base Warranty Add-On — Terms”).
Wear-and-tear, misuse, alterations, or non-approved combinations are excluded.

8) Modular Compatibility & Safety

Use Sole Mate Tops only with Sole Mate Bases of matching size. Follow attach/detach instructions and verify full engagement before wear. We disclaim liability for non-approved combinations or improper use.

9) Complimentary Items & Promotions

One complimentary Sole Mate Bag per order unless stated otherwise. Gifts or promotional items must be returned with full-order returns; otherwise their standalone price may be deducted. Promotions are time-bound and governed by their specific terms.

10) Intellectual Property

All trademarks, product names, images, designs, text, and site code are our property or used under licence. No rights are granted except to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

11) User Content & Feedback

By submitting reviews or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and display such content. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or misleading material. We may moderate or remove content at our discretion.

12) Third-Party Tools & Links

We may provide access to third-party tools or links “as-is” without warranties. Your use is at your risk. Review third-party terms and policies before engaging.

13) Relationship with Shopify

Our store is powered by Shopify, but your contract is with Sole Mate. Shopify is not a party to your purchase and has no responsibility for our products, services, or any claims arising from them.

14) Privacy & Cookies

Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. Because our store is hosted by Shopify, certain data may be processed by Shopify and other providers to operate the Services. See our Privacy Policy for details.

15) Prohibited Uses

No unlawful activity, fraud, scraping, security interference, or abusive behavior. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

16) Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the Services and products are provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation.

17) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing excludes liability where not permitted by law.

18) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sole Mate and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

19) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time. Sections that by nature should survive termination do so, including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law.

20) Electronic Communications

You consent to receive electronic communications (order confirmations, invoices, policy updates). Electronic records and e-signatures are valid and enforceable.

21) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Courts of Dubai (non-DIFC) have exclusive jurisdiction.

22) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. The version posted at checkout applies to new orders from its effective date.
